My daughter wants to become an MD. I am trying to discourage her without killing her optimism and hope for the future. Medicine is nowhere close to its origins. We have lost the humanity. I try not to be negative, but I see too much. Get used to the "new" doctors being more interested in the bottom line. Apparently, that is the name of the game today...and sooooo sad for society.
