I hope it is not presumptuous on my part to use your first name. If so, I apologize. I agree with your position and am on board with you in the need to create a radical change in the direction of our governmental position. I have seen Fahrenheit911. By the way, I have chosen not to see "The Passion of the Christ" as I see it as religious pornography and not based in biblical history. We won't go into Mel Gibson's known sad-masochistic predilections. As an aside, it is interesting that the two topics not to be discussed in polite company are religion and politics. We now have the two in the public forum occurring in close chronological proximity. This I see as a positive as it is allowing people to talk about the movies and thereby tangentially the subject. I have digressed. I want us, I mean by us, those who are committed to change, to be as impeccable as we can be in our own research. Michael Moore has produced a documentary with a strong polemic. I happen to agree with the position of his polemic, however we need to do our own research and not trust the manner in which he has put together his data. For example, Uni-Cal had given up the Afghanistan pipeline some time before the invasion of Iraq. I could speak to several other journalistic slights of hand that he has performed. We must remain savvy if we are going to create the change necessary to move this country forward as an ethical world-leader adhering to the ideals for which we stand.
