You are so right in what you say in this newsletter edition! RE: Michael Moore's film - for
me one of the most upsetting things about what he shows us is that NOT ONE Dem. Senator
stood up to support the disenfranchised Black voters in Florida, even after so many from
the House tried to challenge the election results! Generally, I tend to vote more often
Democrat than Republican, although I usually vote for the person rather than a "party line".
Being in Kansas, I did vote for Nader in 2000 - I figured my vote for Gore was overwhelmingly
cancelled out by the strong Conservative nature of Kansas voters and I want to see a 3rd
party become strong here in the USA. (I lived in Calgary, Canada for almost 14 years and
liked the fact that Canadians have real choice in their elections.) Anyway, I am so mad at
the Dem. Senators that I'm seriously thinking about voting for Nader again and may not
make a financial contribution I had planned to make to the DNC (I will still make a donation
to the Dem. - Nancy Boyda - running against Rep. Ryan in this area).
