Wonderful message - on the subject of " chosing another face " ( so to speak ). Happy as I am with all of the signs of life ( not bad for seventy one years on this earth )and filled with the Grace of God, which erases wrinkles just in smiling, I have no interest in playing games with these visual signs of life, curiousity, and yes, pain as well.
I have friends who play " nip and tuck " - thus having erased not just time but character! Sometimes I have the feeling that I am looking at the smooth side of a sea shell, the passages of waves having been polished off. Perhaps it is because the majority of the women I am with spend more time giving from the heart rather than selfish mindset of the mirror. And, I could my blessings for such.
Yes, for the victims of nature, fire, accident, wars - these miracles are just that. And, those who give finantially to aid those victims are angels on this earth. I know doctors who give of their time to repair birth defects and bomb horrors. These are true Apostles.
Mercifully, I do not watch the unfortunate people who suffer in the public eye for a quest on TV to be " perfect " in whose eyes? I have better things to do, like working with illiterate migrant workers who need to read to just survive.
