We are SO messed up. It would be an interesting study to see how our society would be different if the people getting 7 and 8 figure salaries were the ones who showed love for others and some self-sacrifice, instead of self-involvement, such as entertainers and sports figures (who are paid indecently for their jobs and then people make icons out of them)?
