Dear Dr. H,
I know there are no real words of comfort at a time like this; I can only wish you time and many happy memories to help you celebrate the life of your mother. From the stories you told at the Aging Well Conference in Kenosha, Wisconsin, your mother was a remarkable woman. But no matter what else she was in this life, she was your mother, the woman who scolded you and taught you and was proud of you and loved you with a mother's heart. My deepest sympathy for you and your family for your loss.
