Years ago, a female friend of mine who was married to a man in the medical profession had that done to her (at his request) to heal her depression. He apparently thought it would make her feel better while secretly carried on his extramarital affairs. She always came out of it crying; the technicians said that "most feel better....this is unusual". Her intuition was working loud and clear but her interaction with a significant other wasn't. At that time, women tried to gloss over such things so as to preserve a happy home. The moral of the story may be, "the truth will set you free". Listen to the intuitive side.
