I agree. I am of mixed Cherokee and Irish descent and grew up not understanding or knowing anything of my Indian ancestry. As an adult, I have connected, and have been given the priviledge of learning some of the ways of the people I came from. I am also able to provide my children and grandchildren with information and sources for them to connect with their heritage.
