The Olympics are about 10,000 fine and dedicated young athletes from around the world. They are about the blood, sweat and tears that have gone into years of training. They are about the parents who believed in their children enough to support them with love, lessons and financial hardships.

The Olympics are about coaches, sponsors and the nations who gave their blessings and more financial support to these young athletes. It has to be a monumental team effort of volunteers and supporters to make this happen.

If our world leaders took lessons from the team work of the Olympics and applied it to their governments, there would be a good chance for peace.
