As I read your Schlagbyte about basketball & the Olympics, I kept thinking about the Iraqi team & all they had endured & what winners they are, even if they had not won a gold medal. It strikes me as entirely appropriate that this team should win this gold medal at this time, given all their entire country has been through, & how Iraq & the U.S. are connected. But then, we are all connected.. It's what "Mitakuy oiasin" means. And it's about circles bringing us home eventually.
