Carl: There are so many lesssons here, some even about fishing. There's a book by Kim Stafford, (son of the poet&photogtapher William) "Having Everything Right". His lead story is a Kawaiul term "Helede", or a place where everything is "right", in balance, ie Shalom. Apparently early whites on Vancouver Is were confused becasue there were 35 places called Helede.

Sound's like this ranch is Helede for you and probably later for your grandkids; and with the concept in their hearts like crafyfih, they cn somedaay find there own place(es) Priceless teaching eh?
