I see more and more kids on meds or parents being seduced to believe their kids need them. It is quite upsetting when the creativity, spontaneity, and individuality of a child are not valued, encouraged, and cherished. Adults are not allowed to go through life situations or transitions without believing they have the inner skills and resources to not only face them, but also to learn from them. The greatest teacher lies in the experiences we live. It is not always easy to face them, but the gift is to have the courage to do so.
