Dear Dr. Hammerschlag,

This week's message is timely, for me. Last Sunday I had the embarrassing experience of confusing two dear friends with two others with whom we had just spent a lovely evening. I concluded later that this was simply another 'synaptic-gap', the type that occurs now and then in my 84-year-old brain. Thus far, I am convinced that it is better to KNOW this is happening, rather than to be totally unaware.
