I printed out that piece that goes around the internet about being wealthier than most of the world if you have food to eat, a bed to sleep in,and change in your pocket. My kids thought it was made up, because they thought WE were poor...because we only have one car. We have 3 computers, 2 TVs, a piano, guitars, etc. It amazes me how pervasive the brainwashing is. I am determined to re-educate my children on the "wealth" in the world, and who has most of it.

I think the thing that bothers me most is that they all seem to take it so for granted.
