I wholeheartedly agree that Wal-Mart is an abomination from start to finish, and that their healthcare sham is deplorable. However, you fail to touch upon one major cause of the health care crisis ... the millions of dollars awarded deadbeats and neurotics that have driven good doctors to quit practicing rather than pay exorbitant premiums for malpractice insurance. I live on an island where our most popular doctor of long-standing has discharged most of his patients and is downsizing his personal life and properties so as to have nothing left for anyone to "sue" him for. He will then carry minimal malpractice insurance and keep only a few longtime patients. I feel fortunate to be among those he will still care for.
