I wish more school counselors would listen to Dr. Hammerschlag's words. I know way too many counselors that stink with kids because they keep a "wall" between themselves and the student. Self-disclosure and story telling tear down walls and bring people together. The more I work in education the more I see that "Students won't care how much you know until they know how much you care."

Thank you Dr. Hammerschlag for all you do!
