From the beginning of time humankind have experienced the awesome presence of the Divine in ways that can only be communicated in the language of myth. It is tragic that too many today do not understand that the language of religion is always mythical and awesome. If we can describe it in concrete human "factual" terms then it is no longer awesome and no longer adequate to convey the mystery and reality of the Divine.
It is in the coming together of many spiritual heritages that the awesome reality of the divine can be truly experienced by mortals.
