Last month's Scientific American details recent research on the scientifically measurable differences in the way the male and female brain respond to the same stimuli. Different brain areas light up in response to the same stresses in the PET scanner!

So maybe we should better structure the learning environments for our children. Girls should be taught to be more competitive, so that we might have more top Forbes 100 and political leaders of the female gender. Likewise, we need to emphasize learning cooperation and groupthink for our young men, to promote a world of peace and cooperation.
