I am privileged to be a part of an organization that brings about the actualization of dreams. I am a volunteer at Camelot Therapeutic Horsemanship. We teach horsemanship, outdoor education and leadership skills to students and adults with physical, and mental disabilities.

I am in awe when I see their bravery and determination. I have witnessed such courage, determination and bravery; it s hard to know where to start. I was privileged to watch a woman mount and ride a horse for the first time who was completely without sight and do it with a great big smile on her face. A student that I am particularly close to is a young 15 year-old lady who is totally blind and has severe cognitive difficulties as well. This wonderful child never has a bad day and is always happy. She now can ride independently, buddy riding with her instructor. I, along with her parents, watched this wonderful event unfold. There was not a dry eye among us.
