I would like to know how to clean/a non-abrasive cleaner for my mother in-law who is in the hospital and this bed sore has went to the IV stage and we are told there is not much can be done about it other than some cleaning with these wipes they have and some topical ointment. Well it is getting bigger and the Doctor said if we can do better we need to sign off on the procededure what a crock. first the wound isn't being cleaned properly. cleaning is most important and rotation of patient as well, we can't sped all of our time there as we both work long hours..any suggestions?

My mother in-law is 93 and is in the hospital for a broken hip then she was put on a resperator now last week they put in a trac tube. what a mess.
